Who We Are
Courtyard Manor of Wixom was founded in 1987 as an Assisted Living Facility catering to residents and families that wanted their loved ones to be in a home-like environment. In 2001, Courtyard Manor shifted its focus to provide clinical and residential treatments for mentally ill adults with medical issues. As a State Licensed Adult Foster Care Home, our customized treatment plans and various on-site programs are designed to develop skills necessary to maximize each resident's potential.
Our Facilities
Licensed Facilities

Courtyard Manor of Wixom has four individually state-licensed, specialized Adult Foster Care (AFC) homes that accommodate 20 residents each with similar medical and psychiatric needs. Inside, you'll find lots of windows, sunlight, and open spaces. We designed everything with loving care so it feels like home.
Safety & Security

Each of our buildings is equipped with a delayed door release system that operates 24 hours per day, ensuring the safety of our residents. You can rest assured that your loved one is in a secure environment at all times.
Home-Like Environment

Our facilities include private or semi-private rooms, providing a home-like atmosphere where our services are readily available. Room assignments are offered to residents that are sensitive to age, gender, and their specific needs and preferences.
Dedicated Staff

Our treatment team is readily available to address changing psychiatric and medical needs of our residents. CYM staff are on duty 24 hours per day and are fully trained in CPR, First Aid, De-Escalation, and additional in-house training as needed.
Our Residents
Courtyard Manor of Wixom specializes in working with residents with severe and persistent mental illness with co-morbid medical problems. While we accept residents over the age of 35, many of our residents are older adults that require extra assistance with mobility and care of their Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), like showering and dressing. We are barrier-free and can accept residents that use walkers and wheelchairs.
